Support Us

Your support is critical to the work of the Southern Poverty Law Center.

With your help, we're standing up for the most vulnerable people in society – those who have no other champion. We’re exposing hate and injustice, fighting discrimination, and providing award-winning anti-bias materials – free of charge – to schools across America.

We never take legal fees from our clients, and we accept no government funding. Rather, we rely on the compassion and generosity of people like you.

Supporters who give $25 or more will receive our quarterly newspaper, SPLC Report.

We also welcome donations by both phone and mail. Please call us at 1-334-956-8408. Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST.

SPLC's tax ID# is: 63-0598743

Mail Your Donation

Don’t want to make a donation online? No problem. Download and print our donation form and mail it to us at the address shown on the form. You will receive a letter confirming your gift that can be used for your tax returns.

Call Center Outreach

From time to time, The Southern Poverty Law Center conducts outreach by phone with the help of partners, including SD & A and Telefund to support donor updates and opportunities. All phone calls will come from Montgomery, Alabama.

Friends of the Center pledge a modest amount each month – creating a steady, reliable source of funds to help us make a real difference in the fight for justice and human rights for all people.

We invite you to become a partner in the struggle for tolerance and justice.

Appreciated securities or mutual fund shares that you’ve owned for more than one year are excellent charitable gifts.

Take advantage of a benefit provided by your employer and double or even triple the impact of your gift.

There are many innovative ways to support our fight for equal justice and equal opportunity.

Raise money by creating a CrowdRise online fundraiser that will support our work and honor a special person, milestone, or event at the same time.

Looking to update your contact information? Or receive a tax receipt for a previous gift?

There are two ways you can help us fight hate and discrimination: donating to the Southern Poverty Law Center or the SPLC Action Fund (or both!)
